In Providence outside the hospital where my grandpa is being held. He had a couple of potentially deadly blood clots but he's on coumadin to thin his blood out. the one on the 6ft tapered elliptical faces towards the road (check out that interesting looking speed limit sign!) and the one on the 8ft underbraced upsweep lights up a grass lot in front of the hospital. It was probably a drop-off zone for rescues at one point... It doesn't work but it should since it has a regular PC and not an open cap. Unless it was physically disonnected but that's unlike NGrid, they either "red cap" it or remove the whole thing completely.

There is some variety here though as the older s braced and double guy arms are still in place and some davit and truss arms are used on freeways.
For metal poles, this was what was used: 4-5ft-ish somtimes 6ft tapered elliptcal 25ft poles, 8ft truss 25ft poles, davit 25ft poles (9ft usually, sometimes longer or shorter davit arms were used), 6ft and occasionally 8ft and rarely even 4ft underbraced upsweep 25ft poles (back in the days of the Form 109 and OV-20), double guy upsweep and tapered elliptcal arms in 8ft, and maybe a couple more lol. Everything listed here is aluminum.
