Here is a ITT Model 25 located on a residential street near Del Prado Blvd in Cape Coral, Fl. I think it is 250 watt HPS? I was taking these pictures from inside the car so I didn't have enough time to look at the NEMA tags.
I like the older ITT cobraheads. My favorite is the Model 13. The current AEL 327 still is pretty much unchanged. I was going to order a 1,000 watt MH 327, But I've heard they are close to $600.
Yeah the model 13 is my favorite American Electric/ITT/Thomas & Betts/AEL fixture. Next favorite is the 113 then the 25. My favorite cobrahead light of all is the GE M-250A though.
Yeah same here I also like the model 13 a lot. I like the 113 better than the 115. But they are so similar, the only differences that really stand out are the bump in the door, and the heat sinks on top (on the 115).
I just don't like the 113 or the 115 as FCO. They look weird with a flat glass because of how the back end near the slipfitter is thinner than the rest of the fixture because of how the door is almost even with the bottom of the top housing when you close it. I like both the 113 and 115 better with drop lens.
Yeah I agree they look odd FCO. Really any AE/ITT/T&B/AEL fixture besides the 125 looks odd FCO...Only a few lights look "normal" FCO in my opinion. The Westie TuDor lights, the OVH, OVF, M-250R2, M-250A2, newer M-400, and the M-400A/M-400A2 FCO since it's designed to be FCO (with the circular glass)
