LED retrofitting of this whole city is going forward (with what I'll call the DURASTAR of LED fisxtures :/). Odd progress, I've only noticed low wattage HPS fixtures replaced thus far, and I've never seen any 400W HPS cobraheads replaced with LEDs ever by Ontario municipalities. If the whole city's HPS is going down, I'm wondering what the heck will be mounted on the 400W ones on the other side of the road! Also, instead of a photocell cap, these each have an antenna. Apparently every light is to be remotely monitored and controlled.

MTO also replaced some highmasts in the Brantford area with LED too.
Can anyone find a link to the manufacturer's site to link here?
It would be cool if it were these with LED's though.
Yeah the only subdivisions I know with postops have no gone LED. The postops havent been removed yet but they will in the spring.
*These arms*
*Looks like these Cooper XNV2 LEDs in black*
This is interesting because the King teardrops have been the only fixture on these arms since appearing in 2010. The LED is pretty bulky looking, so I think it's a crafty attempt to get in LED's into what usually asks for a teardrop shape. The risk is using an LED on these arms opens up the chance of visually incompatible models appearing on these arms. I think the city has now figured out how to implement LED's in all situations now, except where 400W HPS is, awaiting that next!
