Came in my slimline fixture I got today. These are picky about temperature- at about 40 degrees forget it but at 75 degrees they're pretty bright once warmed up but still flicker at first. Despite being the hated 60w energy savers (trust me, 75w lamps are in the offing) they're decently bright on the full-power Advance ballast.

I like the Duro-Test Power-Twist Vita-Lite idea...giving it more phosphor area to make up for a dim high CRI lamp...I wish I could find a NOS case of those!
Although it was banned last month I like /765 too.
I'd like to get some daylight or /950 34 watt lamps someday...
I think low CRI would be allowed with more than 89LPW but I'm not positive.
The idea I think with the low-lumen 4100K CWX F40s nowadays is that they're technically specialty lamps and not mainstream cool white. Also their low light output will likely encourage people to convert to F32T8/841s instead. But I like my dim, inefficient /950 lamps on full power PCB ballasts!
3500K SPX35 T8s (/853) are really bright too!
