yep. Fortunatly the tag is still with the light, it was stuck (barely) to the inside of the reflector. I guess maybe it fell off so hie parents stuck in in there. This has just sat in the corner of his parents' basement since he moved out and he needed to get rid of it and figured i'd like it. or course he was right. The OVC is one of my favorite Crouse-Hinds/Cooper Lights, the L-150 being the 1st, this being the second, the OVS and OVM being tied at third for cooper/crouse hinds. For westie, my favorite cobrahead is the OV-15 but my favorite westie street light is the OV-10IB. for AE, ITT, Thomas & Betts, AEL, it's the ITT 13, the AE 13-000, the ITT 25, and the 113 respectively. Then that leaves GE with the M-250A, M-100, M-250R1, silver M-250R, M-250A2 (first generation), Form 400 Powerpack, 60s M-400, older M-250R2s, M-400 split door. As you can see I'm more of a small cobrahead fan. I guess it's because they're just easier to store...
I think I'm heading towards collecting small cobraheads and 8" traffic lights too. The medium cobraheads and the 12" traffic lights take up too much space. I guess the gumball is pretty compact too.
yeah i like my NEMA head. I'd like to obtain a powerbracket at one point too. One of those 6ft Sylvania ones that i see in pictures would be nice but there are none around anymore it seems and one would take up a lot of room.
I believe Sylvania made around three different Powerbracket designs. There's a 1960s one with a curvy bracket, the newer one with a square arm, and the one with the fully cast lamp section.
