Only seen these in one area so far (and like with you mainly intersections)...but they also went in in the past year, so may become common in that part of town if its what they decide to go with.
You're welcome. Oh by the way, it actually looks like they added a bigger box for the LED driver, also a PC socket, and a swivel mounting arm. Heres the pic of it without the custom parts:
With those custom parts, it was designed for the US to use.
@xmaslightguy, I was wrong about this fixture being as a Philips Essential Line, which is not. Its actually a Trastar DuraLight JXM-ST Series LED luminaires. One of TXDOT LED luminaires that they're using.
