Yeah, I agree. I'd love to use this as a nightlight but I want to conserve the lamp. I was VERY surprised to find this!

15 watt lamps are still very common. I use them in my desk light for my computer stand and in the light above my sink.

I know they are (GE and Sylvania ones anyway) but I don't have any. Did/does Philips make them with the Shield logo?
