New York City CooperLED/AtLiteInc. hand and man insert conversion (before and after)
This before picture shows one of my original Winko-Matic VI 2L pedestrian signals. With the CooperLED/AtLiteInc. hand and man insert, I repeated a process that was taken care of multiple times in the early 2000s throughout New York City, in which involved the retro-fit of an original 16" worded pedestrian signal. The process included the removal of the louver, reflector assembly, and lenses.

Nice! The 16" square pedestrian signals never saw use here in Ontario. Instead the standard pedestrian signal used during the 80s was the 12" CGE pedestrian signal with hand and man lenses. Some are still in service but have long since been converted to LED.
