Slipfitter and the reflector is the same as the Westy ones! but I donno what ballast it had...

Ahh. Was this light originally a different wattage and ballast? If so what was the lamp type and how was it mounted?

Originally this was 250W mercury vapour,and the ballast was mounted with long screws directly onto the top housing

Sounds like how the ballast is mounted on my OV-15 I have. I guess GE got that idea that they use on their current fixtures (Screwing directly to top housing) xD

Yeah I guess GE is trying to make installation easier and less mounting parts.

Yes, this NEMA tag came off a damaged fixture.

Probably was fried. Either that or it was in bad shape....

Still have it,the original ballast is a 250W merc,but I converted it to 150W HPS when i was using this fixture outside to save energy.

No, it had a GE coated ED shaped lamp with it.
