Not many LED streetlights installed around here yet, here is a new LED streetlight installation not too far from me, using Lumec Roadstar LED fixtures at a new round-a-bout.
Hmm, while i don't really like the looks of these, they faintly represent fluorescent or LPS streetlights with the shorter davit poles so i guess that's one way to look at it. I personally like the longer LED streetlights over the tiny foot-long pipsqueaks that most places are installing. The longer fixture looks more like a LPS or fluorescent light or even a cobrahead (if i were to look at one without my glasses on lol)
I as well was reminded of that same picture joe pointed out. Like it's been said, that fixture looks so bad on the various <6' side mounted tapered arms. I'm glad it found an arm style that it doesn't look too shabby on! Retro cool beats ugly!
