There's a STREET LIGHT in my ROOM!
|
MWUAHAHAHA!
You an see the inside where i layed the 150W MV ballast in there, the fact that i wrote on the switches, the light lit up, and other pics during the assembly process. It's not perfect but it suits its purpose. It's a little wobbly but it's not going to tip (at least i hope; if it does the light is going to to nosedive right on top of me while i'm in bed O_O) the bottom right shot i took while laying in bed and the shot of the light with the door open was when i first lit it up. I'm happy with the result. I'll leave the R1 up for a while then i might put up the OV-10.
so what do you guys think? :-D

oh, and the R1 is back on the pole lol.
Nice on the switched outlet too, it would be pretty useful for testing lights.
The circuit breaker looks like the gray one in this pic but it's 15A:
the breaker is for the outlets in my room and my brother's room. All the outlets are standard 15A duplex outlets.
The coupling lasted three years so I'm happy. I didn't design this to hold up a big heavy 400W-sized light so I'm not surprised it failed. I just won't install my heavy lights on it anymore and it should be OK.
