This is the lamp in my backyard GE gumball light. It was given to me by j-frog on his first visit. It is well-used but still very bright and likely will last for a few decades to come.
Too bad, they stopped using this Lifeguard technology. My guess they were losing money by able to sell those bulbs since it last too long and not enough frequent bulb replacement.
