I came across a stunning photo from my city and just had to post it. lol. That very shoebox was replaced when a traffic light was installed probably not too long after this photo. A B2255 is currently in this same spot here. Even the old powerlines were still in use. This whole area of the street was most likely all shoeboxs. 2 of them were still there until 2011/2012.
I think a stretch of Clark was widened to 4 lanes in the 90's judging by the stretch of R47's installed. Maybe there were shoeboxes there before too. I wish streetview went back to the beginning of time.
Yeah I figured the shoeboxs existed from Dixie to West Dr. This photo might be proof that they did exist there. Whenever that happend, that B2255 must have been installed at the end of the B2255 install era, or unless it was a used fixture. They would have all probably have been B2255's if it was new, im not too sure about that though. After west dr I remember the polefab OV-25s after west dr. Got replaced by those OVXs in 2005 or so.
