Here are two clear Mercury Vapor Reflector lights shining down at the south escalator. One is shining normally and the other is near failing. I don't know if these bulb are going to be replaced near the future since MARTA is really broke. I'll just hold on hoping those dimmed MV bulbs at the station still shine for a while...
Rest of the Peachtree Center MARTA Station are filled with 250 Watts of E-23 and 400 Watts MV with the mix of BT-37 and E-37. They have recently replace these MV bulbs, again mixed with BT-37 and E-37. There are also line of pair of 4 footer fluorescent lights shining sideway to the wall toward each rails.
Of the remaining replacement MV bulbs, some are still dimmed due to bad ballast
Of course, will miss these greenish MV bulbs that were still burning before the bulbs replacement
Sad news, this row of light fixtures has been succumbed with LEDs light fixtures along the rest of the Peachtree Center Station. But, there are some remaining MV and MH light fixtures there.
