CGE 17A297EW slimline ballast from May 1981. Found inside a slimline fixture I also have. I plan to install the fixture with another ballast, so I removed that one. It's definitely not the original ballast since it's a replacement unit (hence the W suffix) with an extended 36 months warranty. OEM versions lack the W suffix, have a black/yellow label and have a 24 month warranty. Keywords: Gear
