So I was at a park today for something, and while there noticed this... a pallet of old junk stretlights.
And since I had the camera with me for taking some pics of something else there....I just had to walk by these too LOL
Not really streetlight, just shoeboxes. Were there any workers nearby? Or are these just abandoned? Is there some kind of upgrade going on? You should try to get one!
true.. they're not 'real' streetlights...moreso parking lot lights .lol.
I don't believe they're upgrading, but probably just replacing bad/damaged fixtures.
These were near the park's maintenance building, there were workers around (area probably has security cameras too so I wouldn't risk it)
@gailgrove
Oops.. I thought you meant just 'shop' one (because I see people mention wanting to do that on other sites) LOL glad to see you guys are too honest to do that
I'd feel weird asking about old lights, just seems like something odd to do...maybe I shoulda though (even walked by a guy driving into the maintenance building & we waved at eachother...perfect opportunity missed?LOL)
@RioLilC/LilCinnamon
These are at Clement Park. Just go up on that little hill at the Columbine Memorial, and look down by the maintenance building .. unless they move 'em you'll see them
Interesting I didn't know they'd done any upgrades to induction...last time I was there at night (which has been awhile .lol.) everything was HPS.
Also didn't look real close at these since there were a fair number of people around (considering it was a bit after 11:30am when I walked down the hill to these)
Guess I'll have to make a late evening trip to the park one of these days & see how it looks...

So where are these located? What part of town? I would like to check these out.

By the way these are induction fixtures, they USED to be HPS but they upgraded everything to induction.
