Simkar F4T5 Strip

Here's a Simkar F4T5 striplight I bought off Andrew (Dieselducy)(Thanks, BTW) shown with the nice Philips CW lamp he also included. Unlike my newer Pioneer Lighting striplight the ballast is the long narrow type and only runs F4T5 lamps. This runs the F4T5 at the proper current unlike the current 4-6-8w ballasts.

I believe American Fluorescent and a few other companies still make a similar styled fixture except with a 4-6-8w ballast instead of a real 4w ballast.

whats interesting about mine is that the lamp can sometimes start without the starter installed ! Shocked

sweet fixture! The T5s are awesome in preheat. Cool

Thanks, I find it's more blinky than my other F4T5 fixture too.
