Hubbell RM series
Here is the Hubbell RM cobra head I bought off Ebay a long time ago. I had already refurbished it but from being in storage it needs some more TLC. It has a GE acrylic lens in it, it's actually the same one Hubbell uses besides being a GE. This fixture is 120 volt, 70 watt HPS. It is actually full cutoff but I like it with drop acrylic.

Nice! Did you try a Lexalite lens in it? I think either that or a Cooper plastic lens would look cool in this light.

No, not yet I could put the AEL acrylic in it . I don't have a cooper plastic lens yet.

Yeah I saw an NOS one for sale with a Lexalite (AEL, Thomas & Betts, ITT, etc) plastic lens and thought it looked really cool.

Same here. Once the warmer weather comes back I'm going to restore both M-400A2s. I think when the snow is all melted here I'm going to put my OV-25 and M-400 in the shed with the M-400A2s since they're my biggest lights and I don't use them inside so that way I'll have more room for other lights inside.

Speaking of room, when I get all my bills taken care of I plan on building a shed out back for a workshop/storage area. but that may be a while. Confused

Nice fixture, looks cool with the clear lens on it. Cool

I agree, I'll get some pics of it lit. It looks really neat, just enough reflection off the clear lens to let you know it's on.

The original acrylic refractor was similar to the GE, but not exactly the same. Hubbell does use the Lexalite refractor on the current production RM series though.
Mercuryvapor123   [Feb 01, 2014 at 09:27 PM]
The rounder refractor like on the AE 115?
streetlight98   [Feb 01, 2014 at 10:28 PM]
@ George; yep the AEL 115 lens is made by Lexalite. Ahh I thought maybe the ebay seller had replaced the lens so i guess the Lexalite lens is the new "offical" lens for the RMA.

I'm not sure, on the Hubbell website it's still showing the one that looks like GE's.
streetlight98   [Feb 01, 2014 at 10:55 PM]
Well on Cooper's site still shows the old refractors on its lights and M-250R2 shown on GE's site is the very first version with the semi-recessed refractor. Razz
