Dayburning light almost underwater.
|
This light has been underwater before in 2011 when the water of the Bull Shoals dam was all the way to the top, but right now it's almost underwater just barely sticking up.
Usually this is a dayburner, and it's owned by people that don't know how to take care of stuff and are lazy, the dock in the background is falling apart. Right now I think the breaker is tripped for the water being so high.
There has been a lot of rain and this is a flood control lake so the water is very high, usually this is high up and there is no water on the pole at all. The base of the pole usually isn't under water. But the water is so high right now. You can see the line where the water has gone down a little bit. It dropped 6 inches within the past few days.

True watertight fixture (floodlight) with a clear merc inside placed at the bottom and directed upwards would make that place beautiful at night!
