1 Little Part Of How A XmasLightGuy Does Christmas
Part of my Christmas lights 'display'...
This is the controller that sends signals out the SSR (Solid-State-Relay) boxes that actually turn on/off/brightness the lights...in a way you could think of this as the 'master'. (there is also the 'brain' - in this case a Raspberry Pi which actually runs the show).
This particular one does 32 channels.

When bought, these come as just the red board you see inside, then you have to get all the components & put it together, plus get a case/etc.

The numbers you see are volt-meters (1 for mains, 1 for low voltage), they are both something extra I added.

The 8 Cat-5 cables which go through the door you see on the right side all end up going outside to the SSR boxes.

---
Oh and Ignore the various audio stuff & monitor, it is in no way related to the lights. Nor is some of it connected to anything or even plugged in for that matter

@merc:
Well maybe not quite a professional, but a little bit light-obsessed? LOL

@rjluna2:
LOL.
Actually if you look closely, you can see the 'brain' (2nd shelf down, little multi-color case)
