General Electric EBW NO. B2 PhotoFlood Light Bulb
Here is well used General Electric EBW #B2 PhotoFlood light bulb.

My father purchased the light and the fixture in 1970's since he was into photography as I gotten interested into it.

It has not been used since the 1980's that we have moved on, but it still works.

yep. the reason for that is because the lamp is severely overdriven to get better color rendering and brightness out of the lamp. This is a flash lamp, I think they're used in those umbrella type lights that are used as the flash for professional photography. I have one of these in the original packaging though it's slightly used.
