An LED streetlight already dayburning? They could have the wrong photocontrol installed on it. I know Sun-Tech, DTL, and Ripley make special photocontrols for LED streetlights.
Are you talking about those DTL DD series diagnostic photocontrols that sense a cycling HPS lamp and shut the fixture off to prevent damage to the starter?
Yes I do. And those DD series controls are only to be used on HPS fixtures. I believe it says that on DTL's website. The photocontrol they make for LED fixtures is the DSS series.
I've seen these fixtures the last time I visited Boston. They are small and I wasn't impressed with the light output of these.
