Jace, You are Officially Beat! Part 2
Here is the second shot with my sports lighter, I converted it to 250 watt HPS because I had an extra ballast laying around and the 1 kW MH caps where going.

So you eventually did get the 1KW lamp out? Or did you just take the socket out and replace it?
GullWhiz   [Nov 08, 2011 at 09:54 PM]
Nope....I used more fixtures....I am not beat........3000 watts????
gailgrove   [Nov 08, 2011 at 09:57 PM]
But almost twice as many lumens, that it the real measure of how bright a display is. I wasn't going for more watts or fixtures. Micheal yes I did get it out, I ran it for a while, let it cool down for a bit and then used WD-40 to get it out.

i still don't think you've got the gull beat. Laughing

Alright, get Jace to set his up again, and come to both rooms. You will see mine is much brighter.

How to beat the Gull?

Light the other fixtures up. Laughing

I need to make a few more tester cables then, and install a sub panel. Laughing

Run some cords upstairs to another breaker. Laughing I was able to light all my lights off one breaker.

I think he needs a 200A 120/208V three phase supply. Laughing
gailgrove   [Nov 08, 2011 at 10:53 PM]
All of this was run off two breakers, the 1 kW got it's own breaker and all the others where run off the same one, that circuit had other things running on it to! Shocked I could likely put more things on the circuit with the 1 kW. The 120/208 three phase sounds good, but I should make it a 1200 amp service! Shocked Razz
streetlight98   [Nov 08, 2011 at 11:16 PM]
Well, all of my lights were running off the same breaker as the sterio, TV, computer, and dehumidifier. Razz Shocked I didn't trip the breaker either.
