It's a McCain! Laughing How common are incandescent ped signals in your area, over here they're almost completely gone. Here's how our incandescent ped signals looked like.

There are still quite a few incandescent here, but they are slowly getting wiped out. Just like the incandescent signals.

I don't oppose converting to LED, cause for one, the LED's are easier to SEE in the daytime, and use less energy, nonetheless are brighter than the incandescent. They are using Dialight LED modules for the new ones, the new design with the grid-pattern on it. But I do swear I saw some GE mixed in...

One thing I wonder is why they don't make a incandescent look insert with the Canadian ped symbols on them...I like the incandescent look better than the pixellated outline LED modules we use.

Back to the signal, is the lens glass or plastic?

It was glass. I have an extra glass lens for this but I dunno how to take the current one off.

I heard the McCain ped signals have the lenses glued in but I'm not sure.

That is correct Joe. McCain seals the lenses in with glue instead of traditional hardware.
