Yep! You can also tell it's a MASSDOT installation because of the vibration reducers on the truss poles and the overhead sign mast. RIDOT/NGrid doesn't use those. The little white sign under the RI-owned overhead sign is owned by MA though. The RI overhead sign mast is OLD. RIDOT repalced all their overhead signs but the structures are old.
Hmm, I know the MTO still has some 60s era rounded truss sign masts left. Most of the signs have been replaced or have been overlaid with new sheeting in the 90s. I think the oldest freeway signs here with the original sign face are from the metric conversion in the late 70s.
