Malibu fluorescent floodlight
I bought one of these about 10 years ago as it was the first solar floodlight sold anywhere, plus it was fluorescent and not yellow LED (white LED solar lights were rare back then). It used a one-watt, 2-pin hot-cathode lamp as shown here . This light could be mounted as shown or on a stake with the head inverted, as an uplight. Mine lasted about 2 or 3 years and rarely was seen at full brightness - it was not well designed.

FYI this is a stock photo I think from the Malibu advertising - not my own - if I ever had taken a picture of my own fixture, I can't remember, it's long gone now....

thats a Neat Little Light....too small for me though...and im not a Fan of lighting that uses solar power as a Primary Power Source...maybe to keep it running nothing else is Avalible.
