I don't think it would screw in all the way. It would probably not make a circuit. They made the screwable fuse module short enough to not able to get the bottom contact in place
now, what would happen if you screw an incandescent lamp into a fuseholder? i've had plenty of isses screwing in mogul to medium adapters into my lights. it's nearly impossible to screw one in enough for the thing to work right. I onlt have one that even makes contact out of all of them and it's a real pain to screw it in or remove it!
It will probably light up dimly and whatever's it feeding will receive a lowered voltage since the incandescent is effectively in series with it.
On a similar note, hooking up some blown glass fuses to a NST will create a arc inside for half a second before it gets cut off as the rest of the fuse wire melts. I'll have to try this with the screw in style too.
Are these still used, saw them as a kid in the 50s when visiting the US (NJ) still have some in collection and one in brass marked Buss and 6A Thin wire fuse.
seems the resettable breakers have about a second delay when there's a direct short, i had that happen 2 times ever , probably a bi-metal strip that opens
