American Lighting LED SpotLight
An 'American Lighting' LED spotlight bulb. In this case [color=#0000FF] Blue [/color], I also got a Red & Yellow..they didn't have green though :( , nor did they have cool-white, but they had warm white (which I didn't bother with)
(all colors look about the same when off so only gonna post this one).
Nice colors & quite bright (atleast straight on LOL)

Only 2 bad things I see is:
* gets sorta hot
* not dimmable

Neat! How's the AM radio interference with this one? And how bright compared to an incandescent PAR?
xmaslightguy   [Mar 18, 2015 at 02:04 AM]
Never thought to test for AM radio interference.. but there's a receiver in the room where I have a couple of these connected up for testing, so I could easily do that.

I don't have any colored incandescent spot's to compare these with for brightness.

@GEsoftwhite100watts:
I set it on top of the stereo/receiver & tested .. didn't seem to cause any AM radio interference.

Interesting! Does it do the 60Hz flicker really bad?
xmaslightguy   [Apr 04, 2015 at 01:38 AM]
Nope, no flicker at all. There's gotta be a capacitor inside since it fades out when unplugged.
Interestingly there's also a short delay (couple seconds) til it turns on.

I've seen LEDs with capacitive light drain when power is removed, and that take a couple seconds to light up too.
streetlight98   [Apr 04, 2015 at 02:15 AM]
If it fades out, it should be a dimmable model. Interestingly, you said it's non-dimmable. Did you test it or did the packaging just say it wasn't dimmable?
xmaslightguy   [Apr 04, 2015 at 02:27 AM]
@Mike: It said non-dimmable on the lamp itself. I didn't test it.

Not really related, but whenever I get one of those "Someone commented on a picture" emails for this one, it is totally blank Shocked usually they have a link in them...
streetlight98   [Apr 04, 2015 at 02:33 AM]
Yeah that happens. I don't even read the comment notifications from the GoL since half the time they're either blank or in another language. I just delete them when I see them and without even opening them and just look for new comments on the site. The LG is way too active for me to do that so I actually open those notifications and follow the link. Fortunately the LG doesn't seem to have that glitch.

My comment notifications for both LG and GOL get buried in my "trash" email account...I went through them today for the first time in weeks! Laughing Laughing Shocked
