Hmm five F32T8s would be a little over 12000 lumens at 0.88 ballast factor. Roughly equivalent in output and power consumption to 150W HPS. These probably work great in the summer. They wouldn't work good in the winter here. I'm sure CO isn't any different!

Would they fully warm up in 20f weather ?

Ofcourse it could also have a 'high' ballast-factor ballast, then you'd get even more lumens (wouldn't surprise me if they used such)
It can get bitterly cold here in the winter (below zero - luckily we don't get allot of that), but being a closed fixture, and 5 lamps, I think they actually would do fine on most nights winter down into the 20's or teens.

Yep they'd be fine at 20f (I've got some 1xF32 striplights with covers over the lamps outside, and they warm up fine down into the 20's)...though once it gets to the single digits or below, there are issues (one being the EOL protection will sometimes trip on startup. If they do light although it takes awhile they surprisingly do reach a decent brightness).
If you get enough below zero, and some instant-starts won't even fire up.

These being 5-lamp (more heat generated) and I would assume some good cold-rated ballasts, I wouldn't be surprised if they can get near full brightness even at 0 f

I have never seen T8 outdoor fixtures like this but the T5HO ones I have seen used at car lots seem to have no trouble starting and warming up even in sub-zero weather (which makes up at least 33% of winter here in MN.)

@ZarlogH46: I remember testing a 2x F54T5HO at a bit below zero once .. it did fire up, but was pretty uselessly dim but it was also uncovered. I never really did any other tests - like seeing if once you get below...say -10 if that'd be enough to trip the EOL protection. Also never tested putting one in an enclosure so see how well it'd warm up. Something I still wanna do is thest like those one of these winter nights..
