160w Self-Ballasted Mercury Vapor
|
Just received this today, I bought it off eBay. I'm using it in my garage to replace a 150 watt Incandescent. It is only slightly brighter than the incandescent. Not sure why the camera on my phone did this weird line thing.

CMOS tends to convert flickering into lines, and used in cheap cameras in cheap cellphones.
Smartphones and also several regular cellphones and dedicated camera, have cameras with CCDs, which don't exhibit this problem.
However cellular cameras, is mainly to photograph people and not lighting.
If you want to get better results, buy a dedicated compact (Not super compact) camera.
I have no problems with my camera, when photographing flickering lamps, but have problems with photographing in darkness and low ambient light.
