A few 400W MV here and there but no old fixtures
I'd say if you just consider NGrid and RIDOT lights, we're about 75-80% HPS. Downtown Providence has a bunch of MH acorn post tops (some are even dimmed and greened out MVs!). RIDOT lights are about 95% HPS. Any mercs on the freeways here are 400W and aren't serviced by NGrid so they're missouts or disconnected. Wood pole lights RI is about 65-75% HPS. Many mercs are found in the waterfront areas such as parts of Narragansett, most of Newport and Middletown, and a few missouts in the ghetto sections of Providence. (hell it's all ghetto, i'm sorry to say!) Low wattage mercs are actually more common in Pawtucket, Scituate, and Cranston from what I've seen, though Middletown is actually mostly MV. We even have incandescents in Jamestown! There were deals made with Jamestown back when Narragansett Electric was first pushing the use of electric streetlighting (for instance there would be a flat fee of $5 a year for the light for ever) and thoe rates have been grandfathered down even today for whatever the reason! So NGrid has found it cheaper to just keep the incandescents up and charge them the flat rate whatever it may be (i dobut it's still $5 lol)
Here in Calfornia most mercs are still serviced.
@ Bryan; can you get a pic? This is new stuff to me! I was unaware of any 250W mercs! Since there are no 150W HPS i was under the assumption there were no 250W mercs since 100W HPS seems a bit dim for 250w MV and 250W HPS seems a bit bright for 250W MV.
So 10% I am right
