GE Induction retrofit
|
Cupertino, California - the entire city is lit with these types of retrofits! Daylight-quality light, and an E-shaped vessel which looks almost exactly like an old mercury light! Probably the best modern retrofit I've seen. Tanko Streetlighting builds these; induction kit make is unknown.

But I STILL approve induction retrofits!
And I am pretty sure if Niall was born in 1935, he would be biased against anything that did not have a filament or used a ballast!
And if he was born in 1880 he would be biased against any light source that used ELECTRICITY!
But but hey guys....respect his opinion! That is what makes Niall who he is! And that is pretty cool! If we all had same opinions...life would be BORING!
I like LED for indications and signalling and I like incandescent and halogen for indoor residential lighting. Of course I like mercury Jace, but there aren't any around my area (other than my basement). But still for street lights I don't like anything but HID.
I don't know if they still have them or where these fixtures were though.
