My utility doesn't like MH period. Anyway, National Grid only uses GE. (Cooper OVZ are occasionally used, but GE is dominant.) Well, my point being is that GE doesn't offer CMH in cobraheads so LED is coming our way if HPS is phased out by me electric company. I don't see that happening any time soon anyways. The state is practially broke. (Spend, spend, spend )
My area is still 100% HPS for now but the town to the west of me has replaced their cobras in industrial areas to LED. Toronto to the south has a bit more variation, they use MH on some streets and until a few years ago used to have low pressure sodium lumes too in addition to high pressure sodium.
Nearest place I know that still uses MV in around 1 1/2 hours away from me.
"LPS lumes too in addition to LPS." We have some mercury vapor lights around. Quite a few actually. But for the most part they aren't in groups, just a few left out here and there. Some streets are totally MV.
@Devonte, I googled the smiley up, then right clicked on it to get to url, and them used the img tags to put them in my comment. Here's and here is some more detailed instructions on how to use the img tags.
