This fixture is in such bad shape, all it needs is a good clean out, and a new paint job. Then it should be as good as new! And the doors aren't as deep as the M-400 R3, it's the same deep as the 125.
I never knew the 125 was that old. The 115 came out in 2003? I would guess? Even though the 115 is the same as a 113 but just with a different door and slipfitter... And Heat sync.
I noticed the 125 and 115 are the only fixtures with a 2 bolt and a 4 bolt slipfitter as an option. The GE's only have 2 bolt as an option, (M-400 R2s and A2's have only 4 bolt as an option) and Coopers only have two bolt as an option, but AEL's have both 2 bolt and 4 bolt as an option.
It's a GE lamp and I dunno. Xcel energy liked using GE for a while. I think that is what they relamp fixtures with now adays, is GE lamps. Before was the ALTO's though. Most of the fixtures I have found in Xcel territory had GE lamps in them.
This fixture is very dirty, I dunno where the dirt in the reflector is coming from. I Need to give this thing a nice coat of paint. The paint is wearing off tremendously, looks like AE's Peel while the GE's do a different story. I really wonder where this was used.
Good as new except the paint job was crappy eh? Most of the lights I repaint come out crappy too. So far, the one that's come out the best is my 1973 F40T12 strip light. I painted the reflector back a couple of months ago on a warm(ish) day. The paint took almost a week to dry and it's not perfect, as you can see the sanding marks underneath the paint, but I sanded it pretty uniform, so it's no big deal. i used gloss white enamel paint.
Actually the paint was just fine. Just a little ehh but it's hardly noticeable.
I like the new paint job, looks nice on the light. The fixture is way cleaner too, no more dirt inside. But right now the paint is kind of sticky.. things are liking to stick on it.

When did the 125 come out?

But This fixture is greatly restored to good glory!
