Hmm... Something that isn't quite right... Well it looks like an OVH, not an OVX. Is that it? Razz I'm guessing it's the wirenut since it's the center object? Wirenuts are ok in fixtures but I hate seeing wirenuts used as extensions (like several short wires connected together to make one long wire) since that's just tacky. Lots of wirenuts can get messy too but one or two is OK. Plus that one's black so it's a high-heat wirenut so it's a little more "professional" lol.

Maybe it's the 250W HPS ballast in a small fixture. I'm very against that lol. I think for small, it should be 35-150W HPS, 50-250W PSMH, 175-250W MH, 100-250W MV. For medium, 400W MV & MH, 200-400W HPS, 320-400W PSMH. That's how fixtures are optically designed.

I'll let others guess. xD

Hmm. I noticed that the label inside the fixture says OVX but this looks like a OVH because of the reflector. And obviously because the top housing looks like a OVH top housing. Although I've never seen a OVH with the terminal block mounted to the slipfitter clamp like that Confused

Ah I see. I didn't catch that. Yeah this is an OVH because of the reflector and the top housing is different.

Yeah, he got it. I placed my old OVX label from my OVX that I converted to 175w MH over the label on here. I mean the OVX label was on loose, but it was only meant to be on there for the picture. xD I wanted to see if you could spot it, But you guys have a good eye!

Yes this is my OVH. I just thought that I would make a little game. xD

CRAP! I just realized that I typed "OVX" in the description when I meant to type "OVH". -facehoof- -facehoof- I feel kind of stupid now. xD

Oh I thought it was a typo at first but when Ryan mentioned the tag said OVX I thought you did it on purpose lol. Is the OVH's catalog number identical to the OVX's other than the X replacing the H?

Just out of curiousity, I wonder if you could fit an M-250R2 reflector on the OVH. They both have street side sockets... Would be interesting to see and FCO M-250R2 reflector inside an OVH. The distribution would be better since the OVH distribution sucks, though it's not as bad as an FCo OVX or OVZ (haven't seen real FCO ones but I've seen them loose doors so the lens is gone. Just like when a drop lens M-250R2 gets an FCO glass. Not good distribution. I actually find the OVF has a pretty decent distribution. The beam is tighter than a drop lens light but the lighted area is pretty uniform.
