Updated OV-10.
Here is an updated picture after some re-wiring and the 300 watt incandescent lamp in it. Everything was taken off the shelves and now this is my room.

This light is connected to the other light so it turns off with the rest of the lights including the troffer. It's pretty bright, but since not efficient, it's way dimmer then a 250 watt HPS lamp. How long the mogul base 300 watt incandescent lamp will last? I'm not sure.

I think 300W incandewcent is around as bright as a 175W merc.

Probably similar, the light is bright, but not that bright. I wonder how long the lamp will last. Hopefully for a good while. I bought a 100 watt incandescent globe lamp from Home Depot and I first turned it on it burnt out right away. >.<

Looks good Cool

I can't really seeing a 300w incandescent having a real long life...
If you put it on a dimmer that will greatly increase the lifespan (even dimming it just a bit will give a nice increase)

Depends what kind you bought. 120V should be rated for 750 hours. 130v should be rated for around 5000 hours. Of course 120V lamps are brighter and you can acheive the same effect as a 130V lamp by using a dimmer and dimming it just slightly like xmaslightguy suggested. That's actually the concept behind extended life incandescents. The filament is slightly underdriven at 120V, making the lamp last longer, but making the lamp loose some of its efficiency.

It's a 125 volt lamp, so in between. So I guess it would last a little bit longer, but yeah.

So it's close.

Hmm I'd estimate it to last about 2875 hours (in between 750 and 5000)
