Induction fixture.
A bunch of these in that area, as you can see in the background. All are induction. Haven't seen much like this before.

I'm curious to why induction never was all that popular, was it not reliable? I mean HID (High Pressure Sodium especially) were and are still prominent, and induction is kind of scarce, despite it being more efficient. Though LED's are getting more and more popular anyway.

Wow, that is an old one. Perhaps this one is 85 Watts version Confused

Probably the problem is getting the ballast replacement for these bulbs when they fail Confused

Induction lamps with these lines on the bulb is 140w version.
QL was not popular because you dont have a good optical control like clear lamps and the size is a problem now with the small luminaires.
