New MASSDOT Installation
Here's a new installation done by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MASSDOT for short) did after the intersection was widened. the old signals were incandscents on transformer base truss poles. I see they're using the louvered backplates too. There's exactly four of em in the GTA. All are on 12" CGE heads.

Yeah MASSDOT uses the louvered ones and RI used the solid ones. i think MASSDOT uses flatback signals like these but they're 12" not 8" like the ones in this pic:


yeah that's a nice floodlight behind the sign. The new GE Powerflood on the wood pole is just a new pole. the flood light iself was there before but when they widened the road they installed a new pole. (the reason they installed this new signal to replace the old one is because they widened the road)

Ah yes i came across these in streetview once they were pretty neat B-)
