Interesting wood panel finish. is it a sticker/decal or is it soem sort of painted on finish?

Well the wood panel definitely looks like it's from the 1970s.
I'm guessing it's either painted on or some sort of vinyl overlay.

It probably can but the lamp would be almost touching the fixture.

it BARELY holds the F15T8, it touches the starter. If i put a modern plastic starter in i cant even get the bulb in. ANYWAY it is like a sticker overlay vynil i guess. STILL very groovy.
