This is a IN-12 Nixie tube, a kind of neon lamp that was used to show numbers or sometimes symbols. This one has 11 cathodes shaped as numbers 0 to 9 and a decimal point. I am working on building a clock with 4 of these.

Yes, that site has lots of interesting things on it. It was on it I first saw a Nixie clock I think, about 2-3 years ago. I have been thinking of building one ever since, and now I have begun.
