Nice! Why is Chicago so spcial? lol I have an NOS early 80s GE M-250R1 (bail latch) that has a "C" embossed on the door instead of a NEMA tag and has a door-mounted ballast. It's marked for S54 (100W HPS) lamps yet under wattage, it's labeled 70/90. It appears to run 100W HPS lamps at either 70 or 90W.

Were they regular ones (not crimefighter)? It's a very insteresting fixture. The ballast is mounted to the door with plugs. It's essentially a single-door Powr/Door fixture, which makes me wonder why they didn't just use the M-250A body instead of casting a special M-250R1 door with screw holes on the door for the ballast.
