Similar GE Lamps (please date)
They're from the same era but i have two with the bottom etch and the one on top has more dots. The one on top had a smashed in pin on the other end up it lights up. I switched out the ecolux in the undercabinet light for it so the pin wouldn't get worse from storage. all the lamps i got work. I'm thinking of going back sometime...

Took a crack at dating it...
Top: November 1989?
Bottom: August 1989?

thanks aaron! i like the 3500K lamps too. They're perfect for bathrooms and "comfort space" like bedrooms, living rooms, etc whereas cool white is good for basements, garages, kitchens, and work area IMO. I suppose daylight can be used with cool white but i find it too harsh sometimes.

thanks joe. I know someone on the LG dated one of them to somthing-1989.

I agree, 3500k is good for most living spaces. I prefer higher colour temps like 5000K for work areas though.
