It's a shame that Powerlite and Line Material/McGraw-Edison have basically slipped through the cracks of time. McGraw-Edsion got swallowed up by Cooper but Cooper chose Westinghouse's designs instead. It seems even Westinghouse lights have been lost too. Besides the OVL, all they still use of westinghouse's designs are the latch, OV-25 refractor footprint, photocell receptacle, and possibly other internal things. but from the ground, the new Cooper lights look nothing like the older Westie lights.
And powerlite got swallowed up by the parent company of AEL. They still make the Twistpack though, which is a Powerlite design. I find it interesting how Powerlite used Lexalite lenses for their cobraheads and So did ITT/Thomas & Betts/AEL and then Powerlite was swallowed up my Acuity Brands. Just ironic how they used the same lenses.
