Thanks Niall, yes it's NOS.I got it on ebay a few years ago but noticed I didn't have it here on GOL.Originally I had it on LG but it was deleted some time ago and I have since uploaded the pic there too.

Nice ballast housing, looks really cool! Plus, it even has a NEMA tag!
lite_lover   [Apr 11, 2012 at 06:33 AM]
Thanks! Smile

I like that really short mounting arm. Did that come with the fixture?
GEsoftwhite100watts   [Apr 11, 2012 at 03:36 PM]
You're welcome, Darren. By the way, I always smile at your pic of kissing a Durastar.
lite_lover   [Apr 11, 2012 at 09:20 PM]
Hehe glad the Durastar pic makes you smile. Very Happy @ gramirez2012,the really short arm came with a Canadian made Landmark NEMA from the 80's.

Is that a 12 inch diffuser? Is the bulb in at an angle? The tiny mounting arm and unusual ballast housing makes it a very unique light! Mercury vapor rules!
streetlight98   [Apr 12, 2012 at 03:06 AM]
All NEMA head buckets are 12". The GE 201-SA has a vertical lamp like any other NEMA head. I like the unique "square" shape of the head.
GEsoftwhite100watts   [Apr 12, 2012 at 03:08 AM]
Same here Mike, it looks really cool!
streetlight98   [Apr 12, 2012 at 03:12 AM]
I've seen an older versions of this style. It's painted gray like a cobrahead and is more rounded off. There's no NEMA tag on it.
GEsoftwhite100watts   [Apr 12, 2012 at 03:18 AM]
(...) Do you mean like that? My godparents have one of those, with a BT shaped coated bulb, Westinghouse I think. Will check this summer (maybe if they don't want it I could get the fixture)
lite_lover   [Apr 12, 2012 at 10:27 AM]
The mounting arm that I used to display this GE 201-SA fixture is very similar to the arm that came with the 70W HPS Handyman bucket.
GEsoftwhite100watts   [Apr 12, 2012 at 03:47 PM]
When I first saw the HPS Handyman bucket, I thought it was a McGraw-Edison mercury vapor fixture!
joe_347V   [Apr 12, 2012 at 09:00 PM]
Nice NEMA! They're not that common here in Ontario...I think bracket style fixtures are more common as security lights here.
GEsoftwhite100watts   [Apr 13, 2012 at 12:43 AM]
I have also heard that, Joe.
