Pair of chinese preheat chokes

These have been salvaged from desk lamps IIRC. I do remember they were in too bad condition to be worth repairing. They are probably going to be among the first ballasts to be reused as replacements in fixtures, before I use my higher-quality Frost/CLF units LOL.
The one on right (a "Tapei" KS-600A) seems to run lamps at 0.24A according to the rating stamped on it (though I'll need to check the actual measurement). That's a little low, but the ohmmeter reads 42.6 ohm, so it sounds just about right. I've been able to take a good length of wire when I removed it, so it's ready to use!
The ballast on left though had to have the wires cut at the terminals to get it out of the fixture. I'll eventually need to get my 140W soldering gun and get rid of everything that's on the terminals. I'll probably solder new wires on it and protect the connections with heat shrink tubing.
