Brampton Downtown Vintage 3
Here is a photo I came across of McGraw Unidors on Queen street. In the time of the cobraheads in Downtown Brampton the main lights used were B2255, Model 25, Unidor 400 and Westinghouse OV-15's. Here is what it looks like from here now

Change for the worst, Just can't leave well enough alone.

There are only about 2 of these pole and arm setups downtown now and both have OVX's. Brampton has grown to one of the largest cities in Canada.

Nice picture of the good ol' days when nice lights lit the streets. Smile

I think the intersection in the far background was there for quite a while, as the intersection there now is moderately aged. It uses more recent lighting and Eagle durasig signals.

I think this was taken in the mid-1980s Confused

I wonder if those Durasigs are still there. I know York Region retrofitted their poly lights to LED instead of replacing them.

There are durasigs at the next intersection but I think they are more recent. These durasigs at Queen and Main are gone.

woah, that tall building behind the clock tower is completely different. Here it looks like modern curtain wall glass side windows, today it looks like a wall of sill windows. I wounder if they retrofitted the old structure, or if this building was actually demolished and replaced.

That unidor 400 looks like an OVX lol, they tend to to me when blurred.

Awesome posts man, never saw these pics before
