Do they still make those or did they stop? Those fixtures looks COOL!
lite_lover   [Jan 20, 2010 at 06:52 PM]
They stopped in the mid 90's,Sylvania doesn't make streetlights anymore.
gailgrove   [Jan 20, 2010 at 09:12 PM]
I saw some R47s installed around '02
lite_lover   [Jan 20, 2010 at 09:53 PM]
Hmmm interesting...either I'm out by a few years or the installers still had some R47's in stock.

Nice fixture, I've always had a liking to Sylvania fixutres, I think I've seen some R47s installed here as late as '03

FGS   [Jan 26, 2010 at 06:16 PM]
Be patient Jace. Someday you will get a Canadian light fixture. Might be a while but I am sure you will find one or someone will offer one.
lite_lover   [Jan 26, 2010 at 06:33 PM]
Yeah Jace,we will find one for you!!
GullWhiz   [Jan 26, 2010 at 07:00 PM]
FGS, I am not in a hurry, but it would just be cool to have a R47s.....but again I am not in a hurry, I have been waiting for my L-150 and a Tudor OV-15 which someone is holding for me. So I guess I have learned how to be more patient lately Wink
joe_347V   [Jan 26, 2010 at 09:34 PM]
Thanks everyone, I should be getting the fixture soon, I'll upload a picture of the picture when I get it. I also hope that you're able to get a Canadian fixture too Jace.
FGS   [Jan 26, 2010 at 09:49 PM]
They made OV-15s as Tudor? Didn't know that one.
Form109   [Jan 27, 2010 at 03:59 AM]
they had lots of em in Alabama. Cool
GullWhiz   [Jan 27, 2010 at 04:34 AM]
There were a lot of them in New Jersey, but I am pretty sure they are disappearing now because of the new icetron upgrades.......but we have some MV and HPS tudors around my electrical company area! Some of the nearest OV-15 Tudors are in Laurel Downtown with 150 watt HPS
Silverliner14B   [Jan 27, 2010 at 04:55 PM]
I saw a few OV-15 Tudors in Orlando, FL near the airport. They are 250w HPS. BTW I may be located in the USA but I have a Canadian Sylvania fixture from Ontario, it's pretty neat.
