I wonder why these aren't more commonly made.

There's no real need to make them this big, plus many HPS fixtures couldn't accommodate this sized lamp.

Of course there is a need to make the lamp big you'll prevent some of the smaller fixtures from using 400w HPS lamps. Laughing
mercuryvaporrocks   [Aug 07, 2011 at 11:25 PM]
You might be able to put it in a Cooper Lighting OVX. Laughing
gailgrove   [Aug 07, 2011 at 11:32 PM]
Yeah it would.
joe_347V   [Aug 07, 2011 at 11:48 PM]
You can cram it in a R47 too, you just need to fiddle with the socket when putting it in or pulling it out. Shocked
LilCinnamon   [Aug 08, 2011 at 12:47 AM]
You could put it in an OVZ too, I fit my 400w MV lamp in my OVZ! Even a 115, I crammed my 400w HPS Coated lamp in the 115 before as you saw HERE.

The GE M-250 R2's are the only ones that can't fit an ED-37 lamp. Probably OVH/OVG's too.

My ED37 400w MV lamp fits in my OV10 perfectly. It just about makes it in.
gailgrove   [Aug 08, 2011 at 06:08 PM]
That's surprising that it fits the OV-10, I also should of moved the socket back in this picture, it would of made it look more centred.

Are all 125 FCO's in your area street side?
gailgrove   [Aug 08, 2011 at 06:16 PM]
We don't have any FCO fixture in my city (except a small test patch) these where from a lighting contractor that replaces and maintains lights all throughout southern Ontario so this could of come from anywhere.
LilCinnamon   [Aug 08, 2011 at 06:17 PM]
The other 125 FCO pic you took that I commented on had a street side socket as well.
gailgrove   [Aug 08, 2011 at 06:35 PM]
I think all FCO 125's have street side sockets.
LilCinnamon   [Aug 08, 2011 at 06:36 PM]
Not all. The FCO 125 I found on the ground had a house side socket with grey paint on the reflector.
gailgrove   [Aug 08, 2011 at 06:40 PM]
Well I don't know then.
