Stacey Electric! But the unidor you want north of the train bridge might be a seperate contract. hangin' light has been scoping the area, maybe he noticed their trucks working.
I see, I'd bet they are doing the lights up there too, it wouldn't make sense for it to be another contractor. Maybe I'll contact the Region of Peel and see what they say.
They took away all of those cobraheads that have been in the grass for a while, they got rid of the grass and equipment free up more space on the side.
I found 2 crouse-hinds OV-15 and 3 R37's on the ground at Torbram and Steeles last week, they just started the "zum project" at that intersection now. Its the last one that will be finished.
The Zum project at Torbram and Steeles, and Dixie and Steeles actually started with all the other intersections (which are complete now), but for some reason construction on Dixie and Torbram was abandoned for all of summer 2013. Seems they are leisurely resuming now, but hard to tell if it's to finish the work...
UPDATE: The crews put up 4 center median round aluminum poles with OVF's up. This intersection is now using OVF's for the rest of the project instead of FCO AE125's
Yeah I noticed that too before they put them up
Looks a bit silly on the south side of Dixie because of the older octagonal steel poles with the R47's right after 2 new OVF aluminum poles
I saw a spot replacement with an OVF here on a RIDOT freeway recently. It replaced a M-400 FCO. Perhaps we're back too OVFs for the freeway lighting here...
If you go up to Bovaird and Airport road they changed out the cobraheads and put on OVF's on all 4 of the medians. Its OVF'd the same way as the other Zum projects except no concrete poles. They are removing the AE 125's from castlemore at bovaird to humberwest parkway with OVF's up to the next intersection on the aluminum poles in the center. And this older R47 got an OVF too
This pile near Newmarket is still there though.
