Newest additon to my collection: Thomas & Betts Model 113!
Okay, so how I got this:

I was driving out to Colfax avenue after I got some subway, then I spot an Xcel energy truck waiting at the red light. I saw COBRAHEADS in the truck! Lots of new ones. So I decided to follow the Xcel truck and the truck went to one of the Xcel facilities. The guy in it was going to enter the yard, I caught the guy and asked him if I could see the cobraheads.

There were a lot of cobraheads in the truck, Most of them were brand new cobraheads though, A couple AE 115's 200 watts HPS, SOme M-250 R2 200w HPS, and I was shicked to see, a BRAND NEW M-400 R2 FCO. IT had instructions inside the reflector.

It seem Xcel is starting to install BRAND NEW M-400 R2's for Medium fixtures in some places, I saw a brand new M-400 R2 in service at Wadsworth on an intersection, had the new NEMA tag look and yeah. Nice and shiny.

Anyway back to THIS light: Well I spotted this fixture without the door with a broken lamp sitting in the truck, I asked about it, and he pulled out a door from behind some stuff, odd enough the door had the "20" NEMA tag on it so I doubt this door is the original fixtures door. But then he gave it to me and I said thanks and left with it.

There was also a posttop/twist pack that was busted in the truck, but I decided not to get that.

Yay for the right timing and finding a truck full of cobraheads. xDD

The fixture is 100w HPS though, bought a lamp today and tested the fixture after a cleaning, worked perfectly!

I just need a refractor for this fixture now.. Any help on one?

This is a 115 door so it's pretty obvious that it isn't origional.
LilCinnamon   [Oct 11, 2011 at 01:48 AM]
How do you know this is a 115 door? I compare this to my 115 and the doors are totally different.
streetlight98   [Oct 11, 2011 at 01:51 AM]
You're right and wrong, i looked more closely and this is indeed a 113 door, however the 113 and 115 doors are NOT totally different. You should know since you have both that the doors are infact very similar. Confused
LilCinnamon   [Oct 11, 2011 at 01:52 AM]
Well by totally different I meant they looked different. xD I didn't mean TOTALLY. xD Got my wording wrong.
joe_347V   [Oct 11, 2011 at 01:53 AM]
Great score though and cool that they gave it to you. Razz
streetlight98   [Oct 11, 2011 at 01:54 AM]
They look the same except for the bump on the door. Other than that the 113 and 115 doors are the same. and why are we talking about the 113 and 115 when the pic is of a 13? Razz Laughing
LilCinnamon   [Oct 11, 2011 at 01:56 AM]
You mean 113.

Anyway, I really wonder why the NEMA tag has a "20" on it. But still I don't think this is the original door. The paint is a BIT (small bit) different than the top housing. but it might be the original door.
streetlight98   [Oct 11, 2011 at 01:58 AM]
No, YOU mean 113. Razz The 20is the newer AEL font, so the tag must've been added for some strange reason. The T&B tags were a very thin font.
joe_347V   [Oct 11, 2011 at 01:59 AM]
Let's just call it a Model 114 1/2 and get it over with. Laughing Rolling Eyes
streetlight98   [Oct 11, 2011 at 02:00 AM]
Does anyone read the titles anymore!? Razz Rolling Eyes
joe_347V   [Oct 11, 2011 at 02:03 AM]
Fine a AE Model 80 1/3. Rolling Eyes
streetlight98   [Oct 11, 2011 at 02:05 AM]
80??? Where'd that come from. Razz Laughing
joe_347V   [Oct 11, 2011 at 02:08 AM]
Average of 13, 113, and 115. Laughing
streetlight98   [Oct 11, 2011 at 02:10 AM]
Oh. Laughing I see someone noticed the title typo too. Razz
LilCinnamon   [Oct 11, 2011 at 02:14 AM]
Why don't we get back to this light??

I would like a refractor for this one.. But I dunno where to get one. xD
joe_347V   [Oct 11, 2011 at 02:16 AM]
Well since you have so many lights now just order them in bulk. Razz
streetlight98   [Oct 11, 2011 at 02:19 AM]
If anyone here had a spare refractor they'd let you know. Wink I don't want to sound rude, but when you repetively say something it can start to get a bit annoying. Neutral
LilCinnamon   [Oct 11, 2011 at 02:24 AM]
I never said about a refractor in this fixture. Only on the thing but I was trying to change the subject so I could have suggestions to where to get one. But meh. I probably asked it a trillion times anyway.
streetlight98   [Oct 11, 2011 at 02:30 AM]
Sorry if i sounded a bit frustrated, it's been a long unhappy day for me today. I've been in a terrible moodd. Sad As for the refractor try Formed plastics a bit pricey, but the very last one is what you need.
LilCinnamon   [Oct 11, 2011 at 03:08 AM]
Ugh now I am frustrated! I am trying to fit the OVZ refractor in this door but IT WON'T FIT! It stops before it can go fully in. SOMETHING is stopping it but I dunno what!
